Probably very fittingly, Tenarath's first building was a tavern and, to this day, The Smashed Pyre remains a local staple. Boasting the best fare in Javerdus, sourced locally (by members of Blackfang who prefer not to starve and the generous fae of Argyle Court), and made fresh daily, it's also the starting point of many a crawl — of the bar and dungeon varieties. The Rock (located just outside by the notice board) is a well known meeting point for adventuring parties to launch their expeditions from, including Blackfang's own famous recurring expedition 'Of Fang and Claw'.

++A Den Of Wolves++

Alongside its more wholesome reputation as a provision and meeting spot for the local community, the Pyre is also known as a regular haunt of the infamous Blackfang Mercenary Company. The group of elite sellswords can often be found there, feasting and partying in between contracts, meeting with prospective clients, or waiting for the posting of contracts on the board outside. For those with a problem only steel can solve, it is an excellent spot for finding solutions.

Note: Despite being marked as an inn (it does offer repair tables, food, and drink), this is a tavern and does not provide lodgings. If you're looking for a place to stay in Tenarath, the nearby Hyacinth Inn is recommended.
